Susan Cole Hill Elected Chair of AULA Board of Trustees

Susan Cole Hill BOT 198x300Antioch University Los Angeles’ Board of Trustees has elected Susan Cole Hill its new chair. A dedicated member of the AULA Board of Trustees since 2012, Cole Hill assumed duties on May 5, 2014 and will serve a two-year term.

Susan Cole Hill is an independent business consultant and former vice president of Global Human Resources & Organizational Development for the Walt Disney Company. Previous positions include director of Global Staffing and Diversity for the Walt Disney Company and managing consultant for Brentwood International and Conquest Associates, Inc., directing long-term minority recruiting programs instrumental in assisting Fortune 100 clients to meet EEOC requirements. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Mass Communications from Towson State University.

Laurie Peterson was elected vice-chair and will also serve a two-year term. Peterson is the owner and administrator of Un Mundo de Amigos Preschool, providing free preschool and kindergarten-ready programs to over 120 children per year. Peterson earned her BA in Liberal Studies from Antioch University Los Angeles and her master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

Dannelle-Mini Pan is currently serving her second year as treasurer. Phan is audit unit manager for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Los Angeles Chapter and is its past president.

The Antioch University Los Angeles Board of Trustees provides governance, management oversight, and philanthropic advancement for the campus through certain delegated functions and authority granted to it by the Antioch University Board of Governors. Board members act as ambassadors to further AULA’s mission in the community and to advocate for AULA on matters of public policy.
