B.A. students have the option to craft their own learning experiences with a faculty mentor or approved evaluator. Individuals negotiate the objectives and activities involved in the independent study and undertake these self-directed reading, writing, or practice-based opportunities for up to 4 units.
Currently a team of students is learning mural art as a collective independent study project by participating in the development of a mural that tells the story of Antioch University. Their final project is set to be unveiled in the Fall 2007 quarter.
