Master of Arts in Psychology

joy_temppicWelcome to Antioch's Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology Program. Over the last thirty-five years we have graduated thousands of students who have gone on to successful careers in the helping professions. We are proud of our consistently high pass rate on the MFT licensure examinations. Our approach is built around a rigorous and eclectic curriculum that offers a number of distinct advantages over traditional psychology programs. At Antioch, we emphasize the role of psychology in empowering people of all backgrounds, cultures, economic standing, sexual orientations and identities to achieve their full potential.

Antioch's coursework introduces learners to a wide range of theories and techniques that will prepare them to work in today's increasingly diverse society. In addition, learners are challenged to look inward and to arrive at new insights that will help them develop greater depth as psychotherapists.

Inside the classroom, learners are encouraged to explore multiple perspectives and approaches. Beyond the classroom walls, they have the opportunity to implement their learning by practicing therapy under professional supervision at one of over 150 affiliated counseling centers.

I encourage you to visit us, sit in on a class, talk to current students and faculty, and experience what makes Antioch's MAP program so unique and exciting.
