At Antioch University, our degree options reflect our historical commitment to improving society, communities and schools through social reform. Antioch University has long pioneered innovative learning experiences for our students, and now we provide them in a graduate Masters of Arts in Education program for Leadership & Change.

Residency and Unit Requirements
The program’s residency requirement is six half-time quarters. The number of quarter units for the M.A. degree is 45. All candidates complete an Action Research Project in lieu of a traditional thesis. The project uses reflective inquiry into applying a change intervention into educational organizations and practices. Each candidate works closely with a faculty advisor to that will best support his or her vision of change. Team projects are encouraged.
