The Organizational Development Specialization prepares students to address complex organizational problems and facilitate organizational change in career roles as internal or external consultants or change managers.
Some of the courses you will take, in addition to your core competences, within the Organizational Development specialization include:
- MGT 531 Consultation Skills
- MGT 541 Planned Change and Organizational Development
- MGT 548 Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
- MGT 553 Team Building and Process Dynamics
- MGT 563 Organization Development: Assessment and Intervention
These courses within the OD specialization are recommended, but not required. There is flexibility for you to make course substitutions, based on consultation with your Advisor, and/or the department Chair.
