The Low-Residency Format
Writers need their communities—of books, of people, of the larger world. But writing happens, and has always happened, most often in solitude. The low-residency program works the way working-writers do: combining literary pursuits with your ongoing life.

Teaching is important to all faculty at Antioch—as a form of service as well as a passionate craft.
