Last year, approximately 75 percent of Antioch University Los Angeles students received some form of financial aid. Much of this available aid comes from governmental sources, including federal and state grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. The amount of a student financial aid package is determined by a standardized national formula called needs analysis.
Financial Aid for MFA students comes in two forms: scholarships and federally funded grants and loans.
Scholarships
All accepted MFA, Post MFA, Publishing Arts Certificate students are automatically considered for the following Antioch scholarships:
- MFA Fletcher Jones Scholarship
- Eloise Klein Healy Scholarship
- Antioch Opportunity Grant
No additional forms or submissions are required for these scholarships.
MFA students may also compete for various University-wide scholarships, such as the Horace Mann Scholarship. Details on these University-wide opportunities can be found in the most recent Scholarship Packet here.
Federally funded loans and grants
Financial aid award decisions are based on careful consideration of the application for assistance and the funds available. Veterans' Administration educational benefits are considered as a resource in calculating eligibility for financial aid.
The Financial Aid section of our website explains this process as well as your options in more detail.
