At Antioch University we believe in offering options that will work for all of our candidates. Did you know that you can pursue just your Teaching Credential without going on for the masters degree?

The credential program is full time and takes one year to complete. Classes are offered on Monday and Thursday nights with some Saturday classes. Once you have completed your credential you can move on to the second year of the program and earn a Masters of Arts in Education.

Many students do just that but some take a break after completing the first year of the program and come back within 5 years to pursue their Master’s degree. You can choose to complete your time with us after gaining your teaching credential but we highly recommend continuing on to the Master’s degree program.
