B.A. in Liberal Studies
AULA's B.A. in Liberal Studies Program is a pioneering undergraduate degree completion option for students looking for the individualized attention of outstanding faculty mentors and small interactive classes that cultivate rigorous dialogue and critical thinking. Antioch University Los Angeles offers multiple learning formats. Students may develop independent studies with the support of a mentor, and they may obtain academic credit for prior learning. These are just a few of the unique benefits of the Antioch University Los Angeles bachelors degree program that promotes the values of academic excellence, experiential learning, and social justice.
The bachelor's degree program offers academic concentrations to help prepare students for specialized careers or graduate study in Psychology, Child Studies, Creative Writing, LGBT/Queer Studies, Business and Social Entrepreneurship, or – our newest addition – Urban Community and Environment. The Urban Community and Environment concentration prepares students for careers in community organizing, non-profits, public advocacy, or city government through an exciting and dynamic curriculum that uses Los Angeles as a learning laboratory. We also offer fast tracks into Antioch University’s graduate management and teacher credentialing programs. Please visit the fast track section to find out more.
