AULA’s Bachelor of Arts in Applied Studies may be the right fit for you. This program adds the practical knowledge needed to expand your skills in written and verbal communications, broaden your understanding of social and ethical issues, and solve the problems that leaders in your profession encounter every day.

What to expect

Among the requirements for this degree is the expectation for students to take a least 9 units (approximately 3 classes) of the following:

  • Interpersonal Communications
  • Psychology of Leadership
  • Social and Ethical Issues in Management
  • Public Speaking
  • Critical Thinking about Contemporary Issues
  • Project Management
  • Systems and Systems Thinking
  • Toolkit for Community Leaders

Community College Scholars Program

Antioch University Los Angeles is proud to announce the Community College Scholars Program, a new scholarship opportunity for undergraduate students transferring from a community college with whom AULA has an articulation agreement. This opportunity is available if you apply to enter one of Antioch’s bachelor’s programs in Fall 2016, Winter 2017, or Spring 2017. If granted a Community College Scholarship, Antioch will waive the tuition for your first 6 units, a savings of up to $4,000. You are eligible for this scholarship if you have earned a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least 24 transferable semester units at a qualifying community college.

If you meet the criteria above, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Preference will be given to students who have been enrolled in and completed the community college units within the last four years. Click here for more information.
