Your job requires precision, skill and technical understanding of complex products and services, and you’re ready to develop your business skills to advance within your company or start your own. The Applied Technology and Business Leadership major at AULA is ideal for people in professions such as auto mechanics and medical technology who want to learn the practical and crucial skills central to advancement in your field.

In this program, you’ll focus on leadership perspectives, planning, and business tools and how to use them in an ethical and socially conscious context. You’ll also gain the interpersonal skills needed to advance yourself effectively within your field.

What to expect

Among the requirements for this degree is the expectation for students to take a least 9 units (approximately 3 classes) of the following:

  • Business of Social Change
  • Principles of Finance
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Interpersonal Communications
  • Psychology of Leadership
  • Social and Ethical Issues in Management
  • Foundations of Business Practice
  • Foundations of Business Practice II

Community College Scholars Program

Antioch University Los Angeles is proud to announce the Community College Scholars Program, a new scholarship opportunity for undergraduate students transferring from a community college with whom AULA has an articulation agreement. This opportunity is available if you apply to enter one of Antioch’s bachelor’s programs in Fall 2016, Winter 2017, or Spring 2017. If granted a Community College Scholarship, Antioch will waive the tuition for your first 6 units, a savings of up to $4,000. You are eligible for this scholarship if you have earned a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least 24 transferable semester units at a qualifying community college.

If you meet the criteria above, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Preference will be given to students who have been enrolled in and completed the community college units within the last four years. Click here for more information.
