AULA’s Education Department is intended to provide a different learning experience from other institutions. Students say that our friendly, flexible, and student-centered atmosphere makes all the difference. Students are able to work while attending school and receive a wide variety of support to achieve their professional goals. A few of our key features include:

- A cohort model that encourages a supportive, collaborative environment
- The ability to apply to the program with evidence that you are registered for the CBEST
- A Capstone Project enabling students to integrate theory into their personal and professional practices
- Narrative grades and learning assessments rather than letter grades
- Personalized support when applying for a TEACH Grant or Financial Aid
- The ability to fast track into the Teacher Credentialing program from the BA program
