Antioch Alive

antiochaliveAULA’s graduate Psychology program’s LGBT Specialization, and Being Alive, a longtime HIV peer-driven support nonprofit in West Hollywood, bring together their LGBT activist visions to provide counseling and other services to those living with HIV/AIDS and their partners and families. This new LGBT Specialization clinical training program at Being Alive provides LGBT-Affirmative training to AULA’s LGBT Specialization trainees and interns.

In service of all living with HIV/AIDS, and with histories rooted in social justice and the psychological liberation of LGBT people, Being Alive and the LGBT Specialization at Antioch University have become partners as “Antioch Alive”. Our aim is to bring awareness of one’s own inner LGBT-intelligence through counseling, workshops, social activities, and creative projects facilitated by student/intern practitioners trained in LGBT-Affirmative psychology.
