The Abramson-Muscarolas Nonprofit Management Scholarship
What it is:
Students entering the MA in Nonprofit Management program are eligible to apply for the Abramson-Muscarolas Nonprofit Management Scholarship. This half-tuition ($15,000) scholarship is awarded based on merit and need. Need is determined by the FAFSA score on the Financial Aid application. Merit is determined by quality of writing in application documents, strength of ideas and arguments in application documents, undergraduate GPA, work and volunteer history, demonstrated commitment to the nonprofit sector, and leadership experience and effectiveness, and the strength of the endorsement in letter of reference. A half-tuition reduction in cost is applied to each quarter of enrollment, based on satisfactory academic progress.
How to apply:
When you apply for acceptance into the MA in Nonprofit Management program, you complete the Scholarship application form and all of the other required program and Financial Aid application materials. The scholarship committee will consider your application for the Abramson-Muscarolas Scholarship and for all currently available scholarship funds for which you qualify.
For entry in Fall Quarter 2016, applicants must have completed the MA in Nonprofit Management program application, as well all steps of the Financial Aid application, by August 31, 2016. Scholarship applications are due no later than September 7, 2016.
