Individuals interested in studying urban sustainability who do not wish to earn a master’s degree may seek a Certificate in Urban Sustainability. Certificate students enroll for one year in a subset of the courses offered in the graduate program, for a total of 15 units as follows:
Semester One
- Urban Sustainability (6 units)
- Fieldwork Planning (1 unit)
Semester Two
- Urban Ecosystems Thinking (3 Units)
- Choose one of the following three courses:
- Urban Infrastructure (3 units)
- Sustainable Urban Economies (3 units)
- Research and Writing for Practitioners (3 units)
- Fieldwork (2 units)
