Become a Citizen of the World!
As part of AULA’s commitment to global citizenship, we offer learning abroad programs throughout the year. Our study abroad programs are open to current students, alumni, staff, and community members interested in becoming more globally aware by increasing their knowledge of global processes and cultural diversity. Study abroad experiences help foster an understanding of other cultures as well as opening up new ways of thinking.
Past programs have included trips to the Shunkoin Temple in Kyoto to explore Japanese approaches to mindfulness and psychology, a residency at the Institut Vajra Yogini.in Southern France to investigate Tibetan Buddhism’s relationship to contemporary psychotherapy, and a Study/Travel program to China.
