The Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program seeks individuals who are idealistic, intelligent, empathic; excited by the challenges of working with people different from themselves; and interested in developing as marriage and family therapists so they can promote the growth of individuals, children, and/or families.
New students are admitted every quarter for Antioch University's MA in Psychology program. Our quarters last for ten weeks and begin in January, April, July, and October.
Antioch offers two different graduate psychology degrees, the MA in Clinical Psychology and the individualized MA in Psychology.
Here are the steps in the admissions process:
- Complete the online Application Form and Admissions Dialogue.
- Request an official transcript be sent directly to the Admissions Office from the institution from which you received your accredited Bachelor's degree and from any accredited institution(s) of postgraduate study.
- If you are interested in obtaining financial aid, please visit the Financial Aid section of our website and review the information provided. We encourage you to begin the financial aid application process immediately. Please do not wait until you are admitted to fill out the financial aid application – the process takes time so Antioch recommends beginning the process when you first apply.
- A current resume including all paid and volunteer positions. Specify name(s) of organization(s), dates of affiliation, your title(s) and responsibilities, and the names and phone numbers of your supervisors.
- Submit two letters of recommendation. Select at least two people to complete Recommendation Forms on your behalf. Recommendation Forms should be sent directly to the Admissions Office by individuals who can comment on your qualifications for the program.
After we receive your application materials, we will contact you to make an appointment for a personal interview at a time convenient for you. This interview is an opportunity for you to present your goals and qualifications and to ask questions about Antioch's program.
When you are ready to start the application process, simply click on the "Apply Now" button along the right hand side of your screen. You can save your application and come back to it at any time, but remember that your application cannot be processed until all items are complete and you have officially submitted the online form.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
