Academic Programs
The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies is a BA completion program, offering “prior learning” credits for college-level learning that took place in non-academic settings.
The Master of Arts in Psychology program offers five unique specializations, including LGBT Studies and the Trauma specialization.
The Master of Arts in Urban Sustainability low-residency program trains the next generation of urban problem-solvers.
The Masters in Organizational Management program is an MBA alternative that takes a humanistic approach to management education.
The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing low-residency program is the only one in the world specifically devoted to literature and the pursuit of social justice.
The Master of Arts in Education, Leadership and Change program explores both the theory and practice of organizing, leadership in schools, and being an active force for educational reform.
AULA’s two Teacher Credentialing programs prepare teachers to meet the day-to-day challenges inside the classroom, with an emphasis on the needs of diverse, urban student bodies, and can be combined with a Master of Arts in Education.
AULA’s post-degree certificate programs provide specialized training in the Teaching of Creative Writing and in three distinct areas of psychology.
