The Math & Writing Center, a free tutoring facility, primarily serves students in the BA program, though it is open to all students at Antioch University. The center offers a wide range of courses, tutorials, and other types of academic assistance. Tutorial services focus on helping students write effective papers and other documents for classes, and on improving math competency.

Students may sign up in advance for tutorial sessions or meet with available tutors on a drop-in basis if there are openings during scheduled center hours. Some students may be required to attend the center to improve their writing or quantitative skills. Students who need extensive tutoring are encouraged to seek the services of private tutors. Small group tutorials are also suggested.

Tutors are available most days and their hours (in addition to the general center hours) are posted outside the center door. The center is located on the ground floor (1st floor) at the end of the hallway just to the left of the lobby entrance.
