Now the plan is to move from my B.A. to the M.A. in Organizational Management program at Antioch University. Eventually I would like to pursue a Ph.D. that will give me the credentials I need to come back to Antioch as a Professor. I am proud of the history of Antioch College and Antioch University, Los Angeles, and I am inspired by the school’s mission. I have had Professor Erdynast as my academic advisor. What a lucky break! I love being a student, and I expect I will love being a professor for the same reasons. No subject is off limits. No question is out of line. Bring your questions, your concerns, and your reading. The professors are here to help me claim my education. I am attending an institution that is known for its stand on human rights issues for one hundred and fifty years. I respect that and consider my role in maintaining that position as a student and alumni. When I was considering which of the M.A. programs to apply to, Professor Erdynast asked what I wanted to do with my education. I told him I was looking for something I could enjoy doing until I retire. He asked me to consider choosing something from which I would not want to retire. I like that idea. I consider Antioch University Los Angeles to be my academic home, and that isn’t likely to change.
