Biography

Charley Lang, MFT, has worked collaboratively with individuals, couples and families to fashion new, preferred life-stories for the past fifteen years in his psychotherapy private practice. He is currently Director of the Postmodern Therapy Training Program at the California Family Counseling Center, where he trains and supervises therapists in the many collaborative, resource-oriented practices associated with narrative therapy. As an Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University Los Angeles, he teaches Human Sexuality, Narrative Therapy, Couples Counseling, and Contemporary Theories of Personality, among others. He is also Director of the BA Psychology Concentration. He was a mental health supervisor for many years at the AIDS Service Center in Pasadena, and is co-author of Narrative Therapy with Couples: Promoting Liberation from Constraining Influences for Wiley & Sons.
