Biography
Freddy J. Nager is the founder of Atomic Tango LLC, a marketing agency and production company based in L.A. He has 20 years of professional experience in advertising and entertainment, developing creative campaigns for MCA Records, Toyota, Nissan/Infiniti, the NFL on Fox, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and National Lampoon, as well as numerous startups. Freddy holds an undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies & Sociology from Harvard, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Starting his career as a writer, Freddy launched MCA's first website in 1995, and came to specialize in brand development and online marketing. He then joined major ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi L.A. as Sr. Copywriter on the award winning Toyota website. In 2007, Freddy launched Atomic Tango to provide marketing services to startups, primarily in technology and new media. In addition, Freddy is an avid blogger, writing the marketing-and-media blog "Cool Rules Pronto" (www.coolrulespronto.com). He also produces the faux online  news show "The Worldwide Scoop," and is developing other new media projects.

Freddy discovered the joy of teaching as a graduate assistant at USC, where he led two undergraduate marketing labs. He currently teaches Foundations of Business Practices at Antioch L.A., and is honored to be part of the Antioch Community. In addition to Antioch, Freddy teaches Marketing Management in the online M.B.A. program of the University of Wales/Robert Kennedy College, with students on six continents.

Outside of work, Freddy is an ardent fan of live theatre and sits on the board of City Garage Theatre in Santa Monica. He is married, and shares his home with two very independent cats -- the inspiration for his satirical book, "Claw Your Way To The Top: Ten Things I Learned About Business From My Cat," which he'll get around to marketing someday.

Freddy's teaching focus is in marketing strategy and communications, particularly in relation to the arts, other non-profit ventures, and social entrepreneurship.
