Counseling Center (AUCC)

The Antioch University Counseling Center (AUCC) is a community counseling center operated by Antioch University Los Angeles. The AUCC is staffed by licensed Marriage and Family (MFT) therapists and clinical psychologists, as well as MFT trainees and interns. We provide specialized counseling services to the West Los Angeles, Venice, Marina del Rey, Culver City, and beach communities.

The Antioch University Counseling Center is a community counseling center providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, serving adults, adolescents, and children. Our outreach programs include our School-Based Program, in which we provide these services to local K-12 students on their school campuses at no cost to their families; our International Counseling Center is located in West Los Angeles, serving the needs of the international community of greater Los Angeles; our Ways of Being Community Counseling provides for the needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals and families; our partnership with the Culver City Senior Center provides on-site individual and group psychotherapy at no cost; and our Colors Youth program provides individual and group psychotherapy and counseling to LGBTQ youth, their families, and allies, also at no cost.

The Antioch University Counseling Center serves as a training site for students and graduates of the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program, as well as students and graduates of other institutions’ psychotherapy training programs. Psychotherapy services are offered to the public on a sliding scale, with no limitations on the number of therapy sessions.
