Roberts came to Antioch in 1993 as an experienced university administrator and clinical director. As a youth, he was one of the "Little Rock Nine," the first African-American students to integrate Little Rock, Arkansas' Central High School in 1957.
In 1999, Dr. Roberts was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for his involvement at Little Rock. His participation in this significant turning point in history contributed to his ongoing passion about issues of diversity within the field of psychology. He consults and teaches throughout the United States.
Dr. Roberts is the former Assistant Dean, School of Social Welfare, U.C.L.A.
