Unconditional Positive Regard Art Show @ Antioch University Los Angeles | Culver City | California | United States

Unconditional Positive Regard: An installation of photographs by artist and AULA BA adjunct faculty Audrey Mandelbaum.

February 3rd – March 3rd, 2015 | Throughout the 1st floor of Antioch University’s Los Angeles campus

Unconditional Positive Regard is a photographic project that investigates therapy through photographs of individual therapists in their offices. Mandelbaum explores the potential of a still photograph to encapsulate the therapeutic encounter, even when staged. The viewer ultimately determines whether the portraits evoke the qualities of empathy, compassion, and acceptance, what Carl Rogers termed unconditional positive regard.

Reception, refreshments, and Q&A with Audrey Mandelbaum and AULA psychology and creative writing faculty Caley O’Dwyer @ 5:30PM in Room A1000.
