Experts in a variety of fields will offer presentations specifically designed to explore career resources for students and graduates of AULA degree programs. This dynamic program will illuminate concrete, real-world opportunities that speak to the talents and passions of AULA students and graduates.
Join us for the 7th Annual Children’s Literature Conference and Horace Mann Upstanders Award, presented by the Education Department at Antioch University Los Angeles. Established in 2008, the Horace Mann Upstanders Book Award honors books in which the main character recognizes injustice and acts in a way to right the wrong. This award honors new children’s literature that best exemplifies the ideals of social action and in turn encourages young readers to become agents of change themselves.
