As in the classroom, critical dialogue is important in good discussions. Critical dialogue means that you’re considering many different points of view, listening carefully (even when we disagree), looking for evidence (facts, quotes, or examples) to support opinions, and keeping an open mind until all the facts are in. This way of sharing ideas and listening to the opinions of others helps us come up with even better ideas.
