Graduate Students Benefit from Articulation Agreement Between AULA and Alliant International University
In a continuing effort to enhance educational resources and opportunities for its students, Antioch University Los Angeles has signed an articulation agreement with Alliant International University to allow AULA Masters of Art in Organizational Management students and alumni to apply course credits they have earned in the graduate program toward the degree requirements for a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Alliant International University. The agreement provides the framework for the seamless transfer of credits, thus expediting the completion of the PhD program.
The articulation agreement, which became effective May 1, 2011, states that there are adult students who can benefit from courses and programs provided by each institution. Therefore both institutions are functioning cooperatively so as to encourage and support interested students in pursuing their education goals and completing a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In addition, the $70.00 application fee will be waived for AULA transfer students.
AULA has a similar agreement in place for students in its BA program. Students currently enrolled in the BA program can, with the permission of the program chair, enroll in graduate level classes for the Masters of Art in Organizational Management. They can then count those courses towards their graduate degree, should they decide to go on to apply and gain acceptance to either of these programs after successful completion of the BA program.
AULA’s Masters of Arts in Organizational Management Program provides a professional, values-centered education to leaders, managers, consultants, entrepreneurs, and individual contributors who can more effectively work with and through people to accomplish organizational goals. The program prepares graduates who assist organizations in achieving their mission by promoting skilled leadership, effective team work, and a comprehensive systems understanding of the work of organizations and their relationship to a larger environment.
Alliant International University is a “professional practice university,” that emphasizes psychology, management and education – fields of knowledge that are intended to improve the way people live, learn and work together. Alliant, a not-for-profit, serves more than 3,600 students in six locations.
