Upon completion of at least 24 units, all prerequisite courses, and with approval of the Program Chair—you’ll participate in The Capstone Experience. 

The Capstone Experience spans three quarters. Your student team will design, carry out, and report on a project of your choice that serves an organization, community or target population. The project must leave a legacy beyond the time of your team’s involvement. 

Work on The Capstone Experience is initiated in the Summer Quarter with The Capstone Experience Preview, a non-credit, half-day workshop that is required of all students who enroll in the Experience.

You will complete your Capstone Experience during the Fall and Winter Quarters, completing the final report and public presentation during the Winter Quarter. All project activities are completed by the end of the Winter Quarter.
