Antioch University Los Angeles is pleased to announce that the Bridge Program was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Max Factor Family Foundation. The award represents a new relationship with the Max Factor Family Foundation, and will allow the Bridge Program to continue its operations and provide a free college level interdisciplinary program in the humanities for low-income adults.
The award was granted through the Antioch University Los Angeles Institute (AULA/I), which conducts funding research, writes and submits proposals, and provides training and coaching to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members who are seeking funding for projects that support AULA’s mission and expands its reach within and beyond campus to the larger community.
Bridge Program Director and BA faculty member Kathryn Pope, MFA was the primary grantwriter. Chair of AULA Institute Steering Committee Cheryl Armon Ph.D., and student assistant Deanna Brooks were the proposal co-authors. The Antioch University Los Angeles Institute has submitted four other proposals for Bridge Program funding. This award represents a success for AULA/I and the Bridge Program.
