This year, Bridge students have the option to take part in a field study to map the cultures, histories, landscapes, and ideas in a neighborhood. For the fall quarter, students explored Little Tokyo. Over three Saturdays, we explored the physical space of Little Tokyo, along with the history, artwork, and architecture of this amazing community.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll have a series of posts sharing some of what we explored, as faculty members David Tripp, Deborah Lott, and Rosa Garza-Mourino led students on an uncommon journey through the neighborhood.
